As the curtain comes down on not just another year but another decade (how did that happen?!) we look forward to the challenges that 2020 and beyond will bring and reflect on what has been a momentous year for Curzon Marketing.
Throughout this last decade we have continually enhanced and developed the marketing services we offer clients, from strategy through to hands on marketing management and creative development. This has been reflected in a growing team, rich in experience and talent and we were delighted this year to welcome Juliet, Rebecca, and Ellie to the team. As we said goodbye and thank you to others who helped us on our journey so far, the emergence of this wonderful team is already building a great future for our clients and for marketing in East Anglia.
The uncertainty created over Brexit suppressed consumer confidence affecting some businesses more than others making marketing more important than ever in building for the future. In fact 2019 saw the launch of some of our greatest work yet with new work introduced for all clients.
This Spring our longstanding work with The Garden Trellis Company was taken to a new high with the launch of a new website and supporting marketing to overcome unexpected Google-inflicted “turbulence” in search volumes.
Our summer campaign for Metcalfe’s Popcorn, Make Summer Pop was an immense undertaking and a great achievement giving the brand a diverse, rich campaign that could work across channels.
In September a new communications campaign for Jacobsen turf care equipment was launched, “Built for your success” targeting green-keepers across the globe, and the 80’s classic brand SockShop was given a lease of new life with a fresh new identity and renewed sense of purpose that will underpin its growth in these turbulent retail times.
Autumn was also the moment we brought a long-awaited rebrand and repositioning for healthy snack brand Munchy Seeds to fruition. With new packaging, new products a new website and a new campaign, “Flavour-fuelled adventures”, the future is as colourful and rosy as the brand’s new packaging!
And this year we developed a new relationship with the team at Greene King, helping bring their beer brands to life through great content online and in social media. The culmination has been the launch of a special Christmas campaign for the Greene King e-commerce site, “We’ve got Christmas bottled”.
So, what of 2020? Well we start close to home with a complete re-presentation of our own brand, Curzon Marketing; a confirmation of our belief in the power of brands to build business and our commitment to “putting your brand first”. And there is so much more to come, just watch this space!
